Better late than never..one of my favorite games is finally optimized for ios8. TWEWY is worth every penny, so just get it already. A funky mash of cool graphics, music, and storylines, itll grab you from the beginning. Truly an amazing, unique game. *A bonus for Japanese speakers- turn your phone in Japanese and suddenly the dialogue and audio in the game will change too!

This game is beautiful Square Enix is beautiful what a wonderful world... One of my favourite games ever made and Im so happy you brought it back. The iPhone port has many improvements the original didnt (including new music!) and it is worth every single penny. If youve never played TWEWY, please give it a try. The gameplay is extremely fun, the music is phenomenal, the art style is unique, the story is great, and the characters are memorable.

Price is a bit steep but its worth it. Would love to see it fit the full screen of the iPhone 6 instead of having the bars on the sides. Also with better resolution would be good too. But honestly its fine the way it is for now. Im just glad its up and running again haha. Im running iOS 9 beta 2 and have not had any problems with the game at all so hopefully it will stay that way even after public release. As another reviewer said, if you change your phones language to Japanese it will also change the in game text and audio to Japanese, which, imo, is pretty great since Im learning the language right now.

I fell in love with it all over again. The only way for it to better is if they had cleaned up the item spires like the pin spires.

Only real problem with this release is that I know I purchased two of the 99 cent Gourmet Rice Ball item previously (before uninstalling the game when previous versions stopped working - thank you thank you thank you for fixing it) and the "RESTORE" button in the special Reaper shop doesnt seem to be connecting to iTunes and certainly doesnt restore that old purchase.

This game is hands down one of the best games I have ever played. It has a great story, great game mechanics, unique gameplay, and the best soundtrack. You will not regret buying this game, I guarantee you. Ten out of ten!

2nd review: thanks for bringing this back to the store enix! This is one of the few games that makes you forget youre playing on an iPhone. The game feels absolutely natural. The only flaw here is the steep price, but its commendable given the great soundtrack, illustration, and gameplay you are buying. If you think about it in that sense, the price can be justified, and especially since its a reboot that has been remade--I havent played the original. Anyway, cheers. Good game.

I really like this game. The combat is exciting and works quite well on the iOS touch screen. Ive sunk many hours into this game and continue to find reason to play it. The price is worth it for such a quality title. Thank you Square Enix for updating this for iOS8!!! Im so happy I can play this again.

The issue right now is that the button to activate Shikis attack doesnt work and the cell phone button isnt functional

Square Enix I really enjoy TWEWY but why remove it? It should still remain in the App Store just like its still on Google Play. Hopefully it wont stay gone for long.

Ill keep this quick; its an amazing DS port. Insanely fast action, great story arcs and soooo much variety! SO GLAD its back on iPhone!!!!!

FINALLY this game is back up, by far my favorite DS game now in my phone. One of the best games youll ever play in your life, I highly recommend... Can we vote for Neku to be in Smash please?

Its great to see this game playable at last, but now there is one more problem. Whenever I try to summon Shiki, she wont show up. Its like the button refuses to be pressed. Mind if you guys fix that little problem?

Loved this game for two weeks before iOS 8 killed it. Been waiting almost a year to get it back and so happy they fixed it!!! Fingers crossed for iOS 9 xD

Good game but do an update and not update the screen resolution??? Doesnt really make any sense

They took the game off of the App Store for 9 months for what feels like a complete rush job. Phone icon occasionally doesnt function, and partner pin is completely broken. Not having a functioning partner pin limits your standard pin options, since the partner pins alternative command input (tapping directly on an enemy) is shared with other pins. We shouldnt have to put up with such a lazy fix and SEs disregard for their customers when the game theyre selling is nearly twenty dollars. Period.

But this is still a 6 star game on a five star rating scale. Now that it works again, play it!
